I was contacted by Adam Campbell of Premier Funding and told that I was approved for $10,000. And that I would need to fax a copy of my paystub, drivers license, social security and put a collateral payment of $500 which I wired money on Jan 22, 2008. The money was wired to a Jereme Anderson in Ontario Canada the next day I was told that I was not approved and that I would recieve my refund within 5 days, as of today I have not received my refund and when I call I'm only getting a voice message and have only been able to leave about 2 or 3 messages with no return call from him. 100% NOT First Premier Funding, LLC

#7UPDATE Employee

Mon, January 04, 2016

Joyce,

As an employee of First Premier Funding, LLC in New York, for the record I would like to state unequivocally that this is NOT a complaint lodged against my company. Additionally, this claim was submitted on Jan 22nd, 2008, which is prior to First Premier Funding. LLC. being founded. We presently maintain offices solely in the State of New York and only conduct busness within the U.S.

Regrettably, the scenario you outline in your complaint appears to not only be fraudulent in nature, but also very unfortunate. Sadly, it is not uncommon to hear stories about companies and individuals who participate in unscrupulous, deceptive and even criminal business practices similar or even worse than what you reference in your complaint. In the future, as a precautionary measure, I would strongly suggest never to provide anyone with any personal information or monetary compensation upfront unless you can fully verify their identity, the identity of the company they represent, as well as a complete and thorough explanation as to why the upfront info / money (in this instance, the wire) is required. I wish you the best of luck moving forward.

As an employee here at First Premier Bank/Premier bankcard, I can say this was a fraud loan as we do not have any branches/offices/employees outside of South Dakota, much less in Canada. I can say with 100% certainty that that sounds like fraud and you need to get a police report filed ASAP! Sorry for the bad luck and I hope all works out.

Joyce,

You may want to file a police report and also keep an eye on your credit report. I think this was a scam, as I have heard of several similar experiences as yours. Not only do they have your $500.00 dollars, but they now have all of the information needed to steal your identity.

The police most likely will not be able to do anything, but the police report would be useful in documenting the event, especially if they use your info to obtain credit or make our purchases in your name.
