I received what looked to be an official check drawn from the Atlantic Bank of New York, issued by the Premier Insurance, Inc. The check was for $4,899.94. This check looks very real, I almost took it straight to the bank! I am glad that I looked it up on the internet to find out that it is another mail fraud scam wanting you to send money to receive what seems to be a larger amount of a Lotto win. Like another similar scam that I found on the internet, it had all the look of an official check until you try to contact someone about it in which you just receive a recording and you can never get in touch with anyone to verify the check or information. BEWARE! This is one of the best scams that I have personally seen (haven't seen many) but I can see how it could entrap many people because of the look of authenticity. It is really sad that criminals are getting so smart and finding new ways t hurt people. DO Not let the greed of today's society lure you in to scams like this one before you thoroughly check things out! Names Of interest may be Mrs. Tamara Tillman, Promotion/Claim Manager; Horn Halifax (1-647-219-8704) Claim Number NL-0304-PII. By the way, they wanted me to send them $3998.00 to be paid by either Western Union or Money Gram to the Tax Agent, then I would supposedly receive information from an assigned agent (Horn Halifax) who would contact me immediately???? I doubt that is even a real person. This is really one for the books. It really makes me mad because I know that I and many others could use money but seriously, does it ever come this easy??? One Of those "To Good To Be True" deals. I would welcome e-mails (no phone calls please) from anyone who can assist in prosecuting these scam-ers and or anyone who would just like to share a laughing moment.
