My wife and I purchased a car from Premier Kia on May 19, 2008. Our first issue started after we decided to let them help us "sell our car" rather than trade it in. They agreed to pay for the advertising and one months payment. This would be done after the car was financed and with in 30 days. After reading the fine print, I realized that the check from Premier had to be picked up within 30 days or the "we owe" was no longer valid. It took six weeks to receive the check and I had to document everything with them to ensure that I got my money. The second issue is that they would help a buyer get financed on my car. I have lost 2 sales and paid 2 extra payments because George is always unavailable and never returns calls. The third issue is that as of July 09, 2008 I still do not have a tag for the new car. I can not get anyone to answer or return my phone calls, as usual, and my second temporary tag is due to expire in 6 days.

I highly recommend using an alternate dealer and one not owned by Premier Auto Group. They currently own Hyundai of North Jacksonville, Premier Kia on Atlantic, Premier Kia at the Avenues, Summit Kia of Waycross, Premier Dodge and I am sure there are many more.

Overall, service after the sale and follow through on their promises is piss poor. I hate everything about Kia on Atlantic and I refuse to go to them for another vehicle ever. Again, do yourself a favor and go else where.

Ok, first of all they are all fakes and liars. Lets talk about this you are pre-approved thing they throw around. First of all you can pre-approve anyone. A monkey can get pre-approved. If you ask them what bank your pre-approved with they will make up a name like "Bank of Norack". LOL! And if you ask to see proof they will cut and paste someone elses real approval and put your name on it. It's actually pretty smart of there behalf. Which is saying a lot. We are bottom feeders. Yes I am sad to say that I work there. But only until the job market gets better. And the whole thing they say about they will give you money if they cant get you approve is B.S! Look here is the scoop! Anyone can be approved to buy a car with the right amount of money down. There are certain banks that will finance anyone with 10, 20, or 25% of the car down. So what they will do is come to you with some outragous amount down that they know good and well you cant afford. that way they can say they got you approved but you couldnt come up with the required money down. It keeps them on the winning side. And to the OP Erick if they said you had bad credit then they reffered to you as a "Boge". That is what we call everyone with bad credit. And as far as George goes they laid him off a while ago. probably the best thing they have ever done. Although he is still close friends with the Kazarans' so they have numerous side business dealings. Legal or not. There should be some kind of investigation done on not only the premier auto group but also George and his family and the kazarans'.

The people who own this company have no remorse for the trouble they cause for other people as long as they have thier money. George does the dirty work for the dealership. Eric would like for you to believe that the problems that you were experiencing stem from "growing pains" that come with acquiring a dealership. Well they acquired the dealership in January of 2008 and by this time "growing pains" were no longer a problem. This company lacks structure, organization, honesty and morales. I do not encourage people to buy cars from Hyundai of North Jacksonville or the other dealership they are building off of 95.

FINAL UPDATE - 100% SATISFIED

#14Author of original report

I received a phone call tonight from Eric Kazran, GM of Premier Kia (not the same GM that was rude with my wife) and brother of Sam Kazran. He apologized to me and explained that there were issues that had to be resolved after acquiring this dealership. He said that they had been working hard to make changes and had made great improvements over the last month. He gave me his personal number and offered to take care of any of my automotive needs in the future.

He, as well as his brother, also offered to put an apology in writing. I realize we all make mistakes but the only way to correct them is to admit your errors. Premier Kia finally did so. I have to say that Eric was extremely nice, professional, and earned a possible opportunity when I look for another car.

Thank you Rip Off Report. I feel like this was a great tool to getting a resolution.

Thank You Eric Kazran for the call. I greatly appreciate it. Good luck to you and Premier Auto Group.

George, how nice of you to respond to Rip Off Report. You are the guy that we were referred to after our salesman was fired and we were not getting anywhere with the check. Lets face it, no you don't return calls. Don't get on here and lie about it. Just be a man about it and start servicing your customers better. Let's also address the credit issue. My credit was good enough to get a loan for the car I wanted, with minimal down, and short terms. There were no issues with my financing, as I was pre-approved by the bank before coming to your dealership. What makes this even better is that there is nothing on this posting to say who I am. Erick is not my legal name and is no where in my contract or paperwork. So How can you accurately quote what my credit looks like without knowing exactly who I am?

Since you decided to bring up credit though George, let's discuss it even further. If a person with a poor credit history purchases from Premier Kia, why would you treat them any different? They spent money with your business and deserve to be treated like any other paying customer. Are you saying in your posts that consumers with poor credit should go else where because you are not going to treat them like a person with prime credit?

We did get everything settled after I got the number to Sam Kazran, the owner of Premier Auto Group, from a mutual friend. However, my wife was only able to leave him a message on his cell and got no return call. No surprise there. We received the tag 2 days after the second temporary tag expired. The general manager was unapologetic and rude towards my wife. He tried to find out who gave us Sam's personal cell phone number. He was more concerned over that than trying to repair the relationship with the customer. I am glad to be done with this dealership and look forward to never doing business with Premier Auto Group, George Abdullah, or Sam Kazran.

Later today, I will be posting a copy of the BBB complaint in which the dealer didn't respond to.

By posting information (poor credit score) about this customer, shows how the dealership takes a professional approach to privacy.

Now when people Google the name, they'll be sure to read this and avoid.

i do return the calls but if you read his posting he is refering to pam the tag clerk who he says did call him and tell him she sent his tag work to the state.. so while i dont return pams calls i can deduce from what the customer wrote that there is nothing else to be done for him... i mean 6 days is 6 days how can he get pulled over with a legal tag lets all be honest here if he had an expired tag i would consider the complaint but since it is not expired and he said pam called him back and he got his check it just sounds to me like another one of those customers that no matter what you do will always have a problem... i will tell you the facts are we have one the presidents award for customer service and treat each customer fairly

That it does not seem that you may not be as responsive as you should be.

You know enough about this poster to say that it took long enough to get a check because of the poor credit. I have no idea if that is true or not, so I'll focus on the calls and tags. If you know this much about his credit how come you did not address the returning phone calls directly. Instead just saying that you make sure you return all calls, could it be possible that his calls were not returned?

Also, according to the OP this is the SECOND set of temporary tags and while 6 days may seem very far away you won't be the one pulled over by the cops for expired registration. I think most people would get a bit worried. Are YOU going to pay the fine for him if this happens?

I do wish the OP would post if they received the tags or not.

customer should understand reason it took so long to get him check and fund deal is not us it is his poor credit score also we make sure to return every call but have other customers to help than just him... also if the tag does nor expire for 6 days what is the problem? it is still valid i just wish that for everything that is written people have facts because we work hard to satisfy our customers sometimes spend more time at work than with our familes and to hear this is an insult the customer states clearly in his own complaint he got his money and his tag is still valid what is the problem?????

07/15/2008 - I have called 3-5 times a day to speak with someone about getting my tag for my car. No such luck. Pam is the person that handles the tag/title but unfortunately she will not return my calls either.

As of today the receptionist states that the paperwork got sent to the state at the end of the last week for all the cars sold. Lets hope to God that mine made it there.
