In August of 2001 I received a postcard via US mail from Premier Marketing. It stated "Guaranteed Credit Card $4,000 to $7,500 personal credit limit". I had received numerous cards before, but all of them had checked bad on the BBB site. This one had no bad reports against it on the BBB and I could not find anything about them on the internet.

I called the number, 1-800-870-4943 (which has since been disconnected), and spoke with a guy named Brian. I asked him many questions such as, Is this a real credit card that I can use anywhere? Can I use it at ATM's for cash advances?, Can I get cash advances for half of the credit limit?. He said yes to all these questions. He also said that I would have a fixed interest of 7%, that the cost would be $229.95 for processing, and that I would receive 4 each of $50 coupons good towards my payments on the card.

I would also receive a vacation package for responding, and my limit would be $5000. I agreed to have the fee of $229.95 taken from my checking account on September 14, 2001. They did and two weeks went by with nothing received.

I called the number that Brian gave me to check on the package (1-888-516-8389) and was told that there was a delay in shipping the packages due to the overwhelming response. I was also told that I should receive the package in at least 2 more weeks.

After another 2 weeks, nothing. On October 26, 2001 I called and cancelled the package and requested a refund. Since then I have called numerous times and each time I am told that my refund is in accounting at Premier to be processed.

The number I call is supposedly for a company that is just handling the calls and passes the buck on to Premier. No one at the number will give there last name, or let me speak with a supervisor, or give me the real address of Premier so I can fly there and ask for a refund in person.

I have filed a complaint with my bank, Bank of America, and they said "since it was longer that 45 days since the transaction on my account, they could do nothing." BS! I barely keep that account open at the time jsut hoping by a miracle that the money will appear. Then it will be history for Bank of America and all creditors.

At the present I have filed a complaint with the postal service inspection service, like they have any power, I work for the post office so I know.

I filed with the BBB, they are a bunch of crooks also. At the present the BBB still has no complaints about Premier, not even mine?! Hmmm? I wonder who got my refund? the BBB list a Collen Cole as the supervisor in charge, don't know how true that is.

$229.95 really is nothing now a days. Now it has come to a point of finding these people and having good ol' fashion justice done. If anyone knows there real address please post it for all. I own a ranch and my steers would love to find them tied to a post, naked, with honey all over 'em. Then at night there could be raw meat hung around their necks as a treat for the coyotes! It could be video taped and sold and all proceeds could go to reimburse all the good people that have been taken advantage of.

STOP! ..before you think about using the Better Business Bureau (BBB)... click here to see how other consumers were victimized by the BBB's false or misleading information. Don't be fooled! When there are thousands of complaints and other investigations underway by authorities, the BBB has no choice but to finally give an UNsatisfactory rating to a BBB member business that is paying the BBB big membership fees every year. When a business is reported that is NOT a BBB member, BBB files WILL more likely show an UNsatisfactory rating, then reportedly shake down that company to become a member of the BBB. One positive thing about the BBB is, either way, if a business has an unsatisfactory rating with the BBB, you can be sure, the business is bad. But what about all those BBB member businesses that had complaints filed against them? Consumers never get to hear about them. What about the BBB advertising to the public? Is this a false and misleading perception they are giving about consumer confidence when dealing with a business? Click here to understand more of what consumers and business alike are saying about the BBB. You decide.
