In June 2002, I was called by Premier One to sign up for a credit card. I gave the approval to charge my account the middle of June for $174.90, after being told that I would receive a credit card with an immediate available balance of up to $4000 with making NO deposits or opening a checking or savings.

I called the company to check when I should receive the information regarding the card, since I had not heard anything since (it had been two weeks). I asked a few questions regrarding the card and found that what I had been told originally regarding the card's use was incorrect.

When I made the approval to charge my account, it was from the statements made by the online salesperson. They stated that I did not have to make any type of "deposit" whatsoever to make the balance of my card. Once I recieved it, I would immediately get an available balance of up to $4000. Lie.

Quite untrue, however. I told the CSR that I would like to cancel this account and would like to get my money back. they told me I had to wait for the packet in the mail so I could send that back and note to cancel. and I also had to cancel for some type of insurance and cell phone as well. I waited a week---no packet.

So I called and told them that I was getting annoyed with the fact that I had not rec'd the packet, therefore had no way of getting a refund. That is when they told me that they cancelled the mailing of the packet to me (without telling me any other way to get me a refund).

Well, to sum it all up, I followed their refund process that they had given me and have had to do it several times. No refund yet. Maybe $175 isn't a lot to them, but it is to me. I have also made a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General of Idaho.
