By phone, I made a reservation on 11/12/15 for valet parking for a cruise with Carnival Paradise departing 11/14/15 and returning 11/19/15.  After completing the reservation I checked further to discover that the valet parking they offered was not as described to me on the phone.  My husband is in a wheelchair and their shuttle buses are not accessible for wheelchairs.  I called on the same day to cancel the reservation and the company employee told me to drop my husband off at the terminal, then drive my car to their parking lot and take the shuttle back to the terminal.  This is not an option for me since my husband cannot be left alone in a wheelchair for that length of time.  I understand there is a $5.00 processing fee as well as a $7.99 one day parking penalty for cancellations made within 24 hours as stated in the company's cancellation policy.  Since requesting the cancellation on the same day, 11/12/15 at 6:00 pm, I have not had any response from this company and our credit card has not been reimbursed.  I have written to them each week for a total of three times and still have been completely ignored. My complaint is not onlyabout  the money that was ripped off, but mainly the misrepresentation made to elderly handicapped people regarding their services.  This is abusive and could have been prevented if the company would have responded appropriately.
