premier parking usa port of tampa Parking Lot Scam Tampa, Florida
We booked a weeks worth of parking with permer parking usa in the port of tampa for $186 for three cars the week of Christmas 2014 online.
We were told that the parking was covered so when we arrived to park our car we entered the gargae at 491 Nort Brush Street Tampa FLA, only to find out later that they wanted us to park in a open lot next to the garage. I ordered covered parking and was willing to pay the extra to get it. But not pay twice. Thinking we could work this out after our cruse vacation we return to the lot the following Sunday to find no one at the garage to talk with and with cell service spoty at best I had to pay a machine to get our cass out of the garage and go home.
So unable to speak with anyone after serveral tries via phone the next day I call Amex to dispute the charges.....now here is the rub, the online sale price for three car in an open lot for one week was 86 per car...but just driving in and paying the machine for the same time in a covered garage was on $56 per. Glad I'm an Amex member, they will fight with Permer and I wont have to worry about it. Membership does have it's pervaligess.....do not do business with http://premierparkingusa.com/cruise-parking/port-of-tampa they got a good scam going on, trying to get you pay twice.
