Premier Premium Communications rip-off! Fraudulent charges. Fort Worth Texas
My wife had received a bill for $30.00 stating that a Pay-Per-View Website had been accessed on 11/03/04 from Premier Premium Communications. The billing detail specifies that the call/access number was derived from the UK (+444 207 335 44). Nobody was at our home on this day and it would have been impossible for us to have used our PC.
When I had attempted to call the number on the evening that the bill was received in order to find out what the charges were for, I had reached a recording stating to call back during business hours, Mon - Fri. Considering that it was Friday evening, I had to wait until today.
Instead of calling, I had attempted to research the Premier Premium Website and access this so-called account. After my inquiry, I had immediately received an email giving details upon the visited site which we had accrued these charges. I, then, tried to find the website (http://www.realplugin.com/cgi-bin/pluginstall.cgi?wm=c2c1d0f8&did=779&pl=index02.html)
and nothing existed. So, now, it's in dispute and I've yet to hear from them.
Amazingly, when I was searching for Premier Premium, there were multiple matching sites that have stated that this is a scam. I have not, yet, reported this activity to any other agencies but, as soon as I get a response from Premier regarding my disputed charges, I will definitely post the results.
