Same experience as others reported recently. In November while we were on vacation, my son was house sitting and apparently he and his friends were doing a lot of web surfing.

When we got home and tried to use the computer it started acting funny. Was real slow, would not go to the usual homepage, it kept going to a weird search engine page (I don't remember the name) and the modem kept clicking on and off and, like another repoprt stated, when we picked up the telephone it sounded like the computer was online even though it appeared not to be.

It took a couple days of fiddling around with with spam blockers and stuff, but I finally did a system restore back to before our vacation and everything seemed to be back to normal.

Yesterday we received our phone bill with a charge of $88.14 billed on behalf of Tellis. We received another bill from Premier Premuim Communications for $215.00 for calls supposedly made to the United Kingdom.

Today I went online and found this website. It was very helpful to read the other reports, I will report what happens.
