Same story as you will see from others. I consigned a valuable piece to auction for the March 23 and 24, 2014 sale as a result of conversations with Dan Levin and Tom Green. They are both engaging personalities and will make you feel very comfortable. Having read some disparaging remarks prior to speaking with both Dan and Tom, I felt like I was asking the correct questions and they reassured me that I would be well taken care of and not to mind the people who wrote negative reviews. They dismiss the reviews by saying that they have not been in business for all these years without paying consigners and after all, there are a lot of crazy’s that write negative reviews on everything.
I agreed to consign. My piece sold and I waited for payment in 90 days as per the written agreement. It is now over 140 days and Dan Levin and Tom Green are not returning my calls or email. I am following the legal process.
