Complaint Review: Premier Realty

We are attempting to recover monies which was held in our 'Deposit' for a Rental in Grants Pass, Oregon.

We were charged for filling the oil tank on this property ~ Twice!! Once 2 weeks before we moved out, the heater would not light properly, so we called the 'Owner' & he sent out a truck from the oil company, & this representative said he was told to fill by owner....so we thought: Ok.

The next month upon receipt of our 'Deposit' back, (After moving out) everything was in order, the unit cleaned to their satisfaction, but we were charged for yet Another fill of oil!!

Janet Blake of Premier Property Management claimed it was stated on rental aggreement, that it was supposed to be filled (by us) NO-Where on the aggreement does it state this, but she held out those funds anyway.....I can provide copy of said aggreement.

We traveled down to Grants Pass (340+ miles) to file a small claims because we reside in a different county now, but we didn't have a 'Good' address to serve Ms. Blake, so it was returned to us, we even tried to send to the 'Owner' of property but he promptly returned them to 'Us'.

If we had been required to do this, we would have, we tried speaking with her & the owner, to.no avail.

ANy help in recovery would be greatly appreciated, I'm in Stage 4 Cancer, & funds are tight.
