Premier Recovery Very aggresive 3rd party debt collector for Citicards Florence Kentucky
This caller is Premier Recovery of Florence KY, does collections for various Citicard fuel card accounts like 76, Shell, Exxon, some store branded cards... This company (and I use that term loosely!) will call up to 10 times a day, yet almost never leave any message, on 12/13/2007 I logged an amazing sixteen (16!!) calls from 8:30am to 6:30pm, and this was after they had already signed for a cease comm letter a week ago! Their autodialer ignores answering machines and SIT (service interrupt tones) tones, if you try to ignore them, they will redial two to three or four times in a row...
I looked Premier Recovery up on the my state website, this is definitely a third-party collector, despite anything they might claim to the contrary saying they are Citicard or Citibank.

I apoligize for my error, but I just learned that this is the Collections Department for Citi Cards, located at 4600 Houston Rd Florence KY, it is not Premier Recovery as I first reported. Please disregard my previous posting...

Jay, here is what you need to do now.

Jay,
The first thing you need to do is resend a CEASE COMMUNICATION letter and in it reference the first one you sent that was ignored. Be sure to put the certified # on the letter itself, and keep a copy for your records as this proves exactly WHAT you sent. This step is VERY important to follow exactly.
Go to FTC.gov and file a complaint on them immediately for the disregard of your initial CEASE COMM letter, and file a separate complaint for each time they call thereafter, as enforcement by the FTC is brought after a certain number of complaints filed. They do not provide individual enforcement.
Also go to Budhibbs.com and file a complaint and post the agency info there. That will get them listed and possibly investigated, and will track complaints against them.
Your final action after all of this should be a civil lawsuit for the blatant FDCPA violations which are worth up to $1000 to you plus actual costs and damages.
Good luck.
