In June 2016, I went on the internet to search for affordable health insurance.  I filled out my physical address and phone number and assessment of my past health history.  After completing the form, I received unlimited phone calls from insurance companies, and as of today, I am still getting calls.

One of the companies was Premier Series, AKA Freedom Life Insurance Company of America (UCA).  How I chose to pick this one, I do not remember; I guess the timing was right.  After spending over an hour over the phone to discuss the benefits, I chose the plan immediately.  AY

The total of the plan was 271.88/month: $189.95 medical; $46.93 wellness (labs); $35.00 dental.  I was told that the co-pAY FOR Rx were $15.00/$30.00 copay, generic/non-generic plus a savings card.  When I went to CVS in Baton Rouge today, my total for 2 drugs was a little over $338.00.  My coverage was only the savings card.  Much to my dismay, I did not purchase. them.

When I returned home, I searched the website, as well as getting in touch with customer service, and my drugs are only covered by the savings card (40% for the generic and 60% for the non-generic) off the retail price.

Now I have to search for another insurance company and I am stuck paying for the 2 Rx.  I will be using my credit card.
