  I am a physician who lost their job and needed to comply with mandatory health insurance so I was assured by phone over and over back in January 2016 but this complied with the one month that I needed help insurance for as I was getting back to work February 2016. Unbeknownst to me they continued do you automatic withdrawals from my checking account for an additional nine months. I thought it was my place of employment that was doing this to cover the new health insurance that I had. I called them for a list of providers and dentists and none of them were in the town that I was in. I was on able to make use of any of the providers on their list. I am extremely upset as I spent $2000 for nothing. Now my accountant wants the forms for my taxes for this year and they are on able to provide that because they are not a real insurance company do not buy this fake insurance. When I called today they told me they had completely refunded my premiums which is not true and then the woman left the phone for a long period of time came back and said oh yes you did make 10 payments.

Association memberships are sold by independent licensed agents. Memberships contain various consumer savings benefits including both insurance and non-insurance benefits. We are disappointed that you were not satisfied with what you purchased. We inform all our members that the plans are not ACA complaint and it is in all our materials. Members are able to view all their materials immediately on line. During the verification it is explained that the payments are withdrawn automatically each month. These memberships are on a month to month and can be canceled at any time. It does sound like you were refunded.
