I sent out request for affordable health insurance on internet and I received call back from Premier insrance. I made it very clear I needed health insurance that would be covered by ACA. Salesman assured me was a licensed insurance agent and I would not need to sign up for coverage through the ACA as I would have to pay for other people having babies and so on. He also signed me up for vision and dental and charged me fees involved. I received an email after transaction and saw in small print that it was not covered by ACA. However, I didn't think much about it because he assured me I wouldn't need anything else. A week went by and I decided to call them back. Salesman was not in office and they forwarded me to customer service who straight out told me I was not covered.

As this made me completely upset, I was very confrontive and demanded my money back asAp. It became an arguing match and I was hung up on. i tried to call back immediately and was told she hung up on me by accident. she then put me on hold and never came back on line. I attempted to call back several times and phone went immediately to hold and it was never picked up. I've since called my credit card company to see about getting a refund and I'm in that process. I recently quit my job and opened own business so was trying to locate affordable insurance within 3 months. If I had continued to be unaware of this deceit, I would have been at risk of having to pay a fee. This company needs to be held accountable for their fraudalant acts.
