I found two unauthorized debits on my account. One in the amount of $139.95 and the other for $12.95. They told me that it would take 3-5 business days to refund the money to my account. I will believe it when I see it. This company got my information from a company that I had purchased items from around 3 months ago. How do these companies get away with this?
Now I have to go to my bank tomorrow and dispute the charges, pay tons of money in NSF charges with the bank(cause if you are like me, I don't have a bunch of money in my account to waste) and eat a bunch of Rolaids to get rid of the stomache ache I now have. This is the only time I have ever given my card number over the phone but I can promise you it's the last.
