I recently noticed a curious deduction on my checking account and thought it was bank service charges; however, after researching I found that the withdrawal was from a Premier Health Plus (AKA: DealPass.com/1-800-313-1757). When I called customer service for PremierHealthPlus (1-877-559-1097) I was informed that this "piggy back" health insurance plan could save "X" amount of dollars off of medical and dental bills. I asked who had authorized and subscribed to this plan and was told "my wife." I asked for documentation either verbal or in writing that authorized withdrawal from my checking account. I was informed by a "supervisor" that I would have to put my request in writing. That letter is pending receipt and response by PremierHealthPlus. It appears that this deduction has been coming out of our joint account monthly for over 3 years. The discounts have never been requested or used by the "authorized" applicant. Certainly going to keep a closer watch on those unauthorized withdrawals. I am available for discussion and a class action suit should anyone care to indulge!
