In March 2002, I purchased a Premium Plus 2000 warranty for my 1987 Dodge Stratus amd sold the vbehicle in January 2004. The vehicle was maintained per the terms of the warranty and the warranty was to be transferrable. However, when the nes owner attempted to transfer the warranty, Gateway Management Services says they could not honor the could not honor their warranty. I'm not sure what their reason was, but I think it had something to do with them being able to verify my mechanic who happens to be a licensed NYS repair facility. In any event, the car was working well and neither my seller or I sought to pursue the issue even though it was clear all the terms of the contract had been met. It looks like this company will think of anything to evade their obligation. I'm just happy I didn't have to put in a claim.
