Presslep And Pressler Counsellors At Law, Palisades Collections, Gerard J.Felt Esq, Steven P ripoff, heartless harrassment, fraud, in collecting on a debt that was protected under chapter 7 bankruptcy filing, they were provided a copy of the United States Bankruptcy Court's Discharge of Debtor from june 1999. yet they were able to get a judgement anyway and took the little money I had with the aid of a officer of the court. I have numerous complaints pending response from State of NJ

After receiving notice of a debt being owed from Pressler and Pressler law firm early summer 2005. I requested my attorney Michael S. Kopelman to respond to it. Mr Kopelman sent Pressler And Pressler and their client Palisades Collections L.L.C. a letter advising them that the original creditor, AT&T Wireless, was duly listed on my bankruptcy petition, and was Discharged on June 14 1999 together with other debts;and that they therefore cease further collection activity. A copy of Discharge of Debtor issued by the United States Bankruptcy Court and signed by the Honorable William F. Tuohey, United States Bankruptcy Judge, was included for their records. Mr Kopelman's letter was dated September 9, 2005. Pressler and Pressler along with thier team of attorney's Gerard J.Felt, Steven P McCabe, Thomas M Brogan, Esq's, ignored this letter and obtained a judgement against me on October 13, 2005. I started receiving legal papers from them again in January 2006, I responded to them requesting Strick Proof of Contract, { something with my and their Signatures on it showing this debt to be true}... I was begining to think maybe this was'nt for AT&T Wireless. They ignored this request and continued thier collection tactics. I advised them I would seek any and all legal options available,I would complain to the State Attorney General Of NJ on line, The State Bar Association, The Professional Liaility Fund, Office on consumer Protection, bring a lawsuit placed in my county, contact the District Attorney"'s Office, and finally, but not the end,a grievance complaint to the District Ethics Secretary of the State Bar Association, and the Federal Trade Commission. and now The Ripoff report. They ignored this also, and hauled me into court to fill out a personal information subpoena. I coopertated with thier attorney Thomas M. Brogan at the courtroom,he reviewed it twice and had me add additional information I had missed, he finally said I could go, that's all he needed, I felt intimidated. I asked him if I could talk to him a for a minute so I could ask why his firm was continueing this collection effort when this original creditor was duly listed on my bankruptcy petition and that his firm was informed by my Attorney Mr Michael S. Kopelman's notice of september 9, 2005. The Bankruptcy was over 6 years ago,?, he responded, [I'm only here to have this information Subpoena completed, I don't have that letter with me]. and he left the courtroom. Finally,on February 25, 2006 I received a notice from my Bank informing me that my complete balance in the only account of any kind that I have, a checking account, had been drained by order of the court,by an officer of the court, and placed in a levy holding account, I have sent a letter to both the Officer of the Court and the Court Clerk in my county explaing the above and asked for thier help. I don't know what else to do except wait for reponses from all that Ihave complained to. I am unemployed because I am Disabled, I suffer from Post Polio Syndrome, Depression, Anxiety and acute pain. My only income is tempoary disability. The $202.00 I had in my account that they stole had already had checks written against it, of course they will bounce and cause additional hardship. These peolple are heartless SOB'S. I hope they get DISBARRED.
