Complaint Review: PRESTIGE DISTRIBUTION - TRINA & RICK KENNEY

Trina Kenney, using the name Sierra Randolph-Kenney, advertised a registered Friesian mare on the internet. Ms. Kenney sold the horse to me for $5000, which I paid to her in full. She used the Prestige Distribution business name for all transactions, and my cashier's check was signed/endorsed "Rick Kenney". Ms. Kenney signed the sales contract for the horse "Sierra Kenney".

A professional horse hauler was scheduled to pick the horse up to deliver to me in another state. However, Ms. Kenney failed to be available for this pre-arranged date. Ms. Kenney then gave me the number for Shawn, H & H Horse Transport, (480)-686-3760, who she said she had arranged to pick the horse up for delivery to me. I believe Rick Kenney posed as Shawn, and never answered my calls or returned my messages after the horse was to be picked up for delivery. I attempted to schedule another horse hauler several times, but Ms. Kenney would agree to meet the hauler, then change her plans at the last minute so that she failed to be able to meet the hauler every time. Ms. Kenney then demanded a very large amount of cash for boarding of the horse since I hadn't had it picked up yet! She refused to let anyone pick up the horse until I paid her cash for the boarding.

Ms. Kenney refused to refund my money and discontinued contact with me within weeks after receiving payment for the horse and failing to deliver the horse as per our sales contract. I have never received the horse, or any refund from Ms. Kenney.
