Prestige Management Interactive Strategies Withholding My Check Woodriver Illinois
My check is being held by owners Matt and Rhonda after being fired. Illinois Labor Law 820 ILCS 115/5 says employer had to give check on next scheduled check date. Which is 1-29-16. Which Rhonda refused to do and says she'll mail. However in the past ex employees have waited weeks to receive checks that have been "mailed" per say. I asked Rhonda to give my check to another employee since she says she doesn't allow past employees on the premises.
She said she'd ask get lawyer and call back. Which she NEVER did. I guess its cheaper to pay the IRS for tax fraud on all the employees they have claimed are 1099. The Irs in fact did say I wasn't a 1099 employee and faxed me form 3949-A to report employer tax fraud. Maybe it's cheaper to payback $1250 a whop to Barry G,Sergio S,Darrell H,and the list goes on of agents who could use a past employee to verify that haven't received service paid for. I think is cheaper to give me $780 check. What do you think?
