I do not even know where to begin with this company so I'll start right at the top. The president- Sarah Ward. This woman is nothing more then a con artist who somehow made it to the top of the pyramid. She prays on college graduates looking for work in the corporate world. However, this is job won't have you working in the corporate world, they will have you working in a world of lies, deceit and broken promises. Sarah will promise that all your dreams will come true like they did for her- after only a single year you'll have your own company and you'll be making a healthy 6 figure income.
Prestige has a 5 to 10 day "training period" in which you will learn the ropes of this corrupt business. During those initial days you'll find that more then half the customers you go to hate AT&T because they have been screwed over by this very company. The only way to truly sell these products and services is through lies. The company says they want to help people but in reality all they do is hurt people. Most likely you will not get paid for this training period. Apparently a 200 dollar training bonus is offered, but only if you really rock out your first week after training. Unfortunately you can't learn enough in that week and it will take many weeks for you to finally grow the nerve to straight up lie to people to get a sale. They do not compensate you for gas or food on their silly "business trips". My "territory" was more then 30 miles away from the office, through toll roads. I quit because I simply could not afford this job... ie I no longer had the money to pay for this job!! That's not how a job is suppose to work!! Now provided, they do tell you pretty early on that the job is 100% commission, however they promise you that it'll be a breeze and the services practically sell themselves.

Even the other employees will lie to you to get you to stay with the company. They will tell you they make about 1000 dollars a week. This is simply not true- I started writing down everyone's profit numbers for the day after the second week only to find that these people are barely making minimum wage when you account for the 50-60 hour work weeks. You will also notice that they have new employees every single day (in a 2 week period I saw 12 new faces and saw 7 people quit) because the turn around rate is so severe. When you see that sort of thing, that means there is something wrong with the company and the system.

Please do yourself a favor and do not even attempt to get a job here. You can't be successful at this business... maybe 3 years ago before everyone's AT&T account was messed up you might have had a chance, but not now. I feel so put out by this company and I know others do as well.. If you are an ex-employee of Prestige, we need to band together and make a class action lawsuit. It would be so easy (I'm so mad at myself for not finding and copying down a list of ex-employees while I was there) to win this case. The punitive damages alone would shut this company down, and we could win back some of the income that we deserve. The attorney fees would be negligible for this type of claim. Who's with me?
