Complaint Review: Prestige Timeshare Marketing

I too have fallen to the now famous Doctor story. I was originally contacted by someone from my timeshare property, Coconut Bay"George". He informed me that he had a buyer for my timeshare and that I would have to use Prestige to do all the paperwork. George told me that I would have a check for my property in 2-3 weeks after I paid Prestige their $700 processing fee. I was reluctant at first but was eager to sell and this sounded promising. I paid $700 to Prestige and waited.

After about four weeks I called George to see what the hold up was. He gave me a number to call at Prestige so I could get up to the minute information about my closing from David Harris. I called David and was informed that they only do 2-3 closings a day and I was number 62. David also told me that my timeshare was being purchased by a Doctor and his wife from South America and they were waiting on there financing . I thought this was strange that that a Doctor would need financing but I waited.

I was contacted by Prestige last night and was told that this Doctor and his wife are now getting a divorce and would not be buying my timeshare. I wish that this information was available to me before I paid Prestige.

I did a search to find some information about Prestige, but did not find anything negative. WOW!! I have been duped. I had already made plans for this money, my son needs braces and my wife and I were going to use this money to get my son braces. THANKS! Prestige for crushing me and my family. Nothing says I love you like pulling the carpet from under the people who have put there trust in you. I too want to be part of any class action law suit against Prestige.
