Complaint Review: Prestique Financial

Hello, my name is katherine. I was a court clerk at the 3rd district court small claims in the evening. my job was to make sure that companys did not sue out of jurisdiction. I reported to my supervisor this company was suing people from new mexico , arizona , etc here in utah and were abusing the small claims default courtroom. My husband was the representative for this company sueing on there behalf. My husband totally agreed that this was wrong. And it was having an emotional impact on him. There were 4 items illegeal this company was doing and is still doing to consumers .
1. sueing for the wrong amts of money owed. =my husband was told to collect anyway.
1a. if a woman owed 300.00 the would sue for 5,000.00 and had never paid any attorney. Thus extorting money not owed.
2. If the client overpaid the company would not give them back there money they overpaid. My husband was told to just ad fees .
3. my husband Todd was told to not charge off after 120 days but to hide items in the bankruptcy que.
4. this company added fees saying they fixed cars they did not and extorted money from people for cars not fixed.
5. My daughter in law returned a car and 4 months later recieved a letter stating they were charging 3500.00 for items needing repair.
5a. We filed a case in small claims and sued them back and won . There never was anything wrong with the car .
They wrote a check for 4,000 to my daughter in law.
6. Prestique financial is owned by Larry Miller group . His wife shows as CEO.
Larry Miller owns the Utah Jazz , also the soccer team. a racetrack etc.
7. I had told the Attorney General about the problems nothing was ever done.
8. Get Gephart is a reporter here in Utah who wanted to do a story . His director Mike Sanchez and him came to our home and filmed this story .
However when Larry Miller found out about it he called them and said : if you air that story I will yank my 1 millon dollar advertising from your station. So the story was never aired ,
9. We are a state run by money , for this reasone honest people cannot do there jobs the right way. And many people are getting hurt .
10. Prestiqe now files there cases in the west jordan court. or south jordan court.
11. The problem is this , where is the money going ?
12. The other problem is this, my husband brought more money in on there bottom line honestly than anyone had ever. He simply would not be dishonest. It was possible to do it better honestly.
He lost his job and was fired , and so did I . However we helped others win there cases.
