Complaint Review: Preston Rahn

In March of 2012, I was online searching for a SEO marketing company that could help me grow my business by the way of video marketing.  While searching online, I stumble across the site for Preston Rahn which is his name dot com on the web. After my initial 90 minute meeting over the phone, I told Mr. Rahn that I liked his idea for my company and that I
wanted to think about it and get back to him. He told me how his experience as a SEO guru would guarantee my success with his services. I explain to him that my marketing idea was unique and I wanted to work with a company that
could become a partner with me long-term. I also explained to him that I had put a request in with another company and that I wanted to hear from them as well.

 Not convince by his on the fly pricing structure that he shared with me over the phone, I was convince that I should take additional quotes before finalizing on my project with him. When I got a call from another vendor to provide the same
service, I found that the other company was not a good choice for me. For a few days, I went back and forth as a small business owner trying to decide if Preston Rahn was a good fit for my insurance agency marketing program. He was trying to sell me on sales coaching, website SEO and video SEO services in the beginning so I felt that he might not be as good as if he claim to be. His hands seem to be in everything. My gut said something is not right this guy business and after what he did I knew I could not let this story go unknown.

 On 3/20/2012 he sends me the following email say" hey Billy, I'm not sure why I didn't here back from you regarding
doing marketing. So I went ahead and did a small test over the weekend. It's pretty funny because I only spent $7.65 for a new domain name, set up a small wordpress website and created 2 new videos. Well, I just wanted to show you
some things - just go ahead and search Google for blue cross blue shield nc and you will see my brand new video on page one and two. The funny thing is that this brand new website, 321HealthInsurance.com is now ranking for that same keyword on page two, passing your older site, which is still on page three. So, I was hoping that we would be working together but instead I'll just be your new competitor. So, you'll start seeing a lot more of my videos ranking for your keywords. Have a great day, Preston Rahn www.321HealthInsurance.com." I was completely shocked because this guy was stealing my
business model that I had plan on using to try find new clients. When I fired back with a email saying how I was disappointed and thought his was being unethical and could not be trusted, he fired back with this email "It's not personal, it's just business. You should have called me back, so yes, as a simple TEST I have become your competitor and will DOMINATE! You have no chance now Billy. And I don't need luck, just proof, my video and my website ARE already out ranking you and your site in only 3 days, HA! And I'm also watching your site slip, soon it will be on page 4. How much time and money did you spend so far getting your site to where it is, you should have trusted me.

YEs, Integrity, I spent 4 hours with you and after hours, and then you came back with some competition that dosn't do anything close to what I'm doing, HA. 

Well I just want to show you that I am the BEST - which is why I was written about in a book, and will take not only your leads, but your competitors too. It's funny, you had the chance to be a partner and got greedy and thought that
another company could do better. HA. 

As you can see he cannot be trusted to work with on so many levels. He took my waiting to make a decision as a No
and instead of being a professional; he chose to act in a very unprofessional way. I will also be reporting his websites to the department of insurance for north Carolina as he is not authorize to SOLICIT Blue Cross Blue shield of north Carolina, and he not licensed to provide insurance to anyone.

I will also be reporting his company to the BBB. As an insurance professional who has been in the business for almost 7yrs, I have never run across any company that would be so petite that he would try to attack me personal when I decided not to use his agency. I am not upset because he stole my idea. I am upset because he stole my idea and decided to be so unprofessional about it by sending me those two emails. If you research me or my agency, you will find no complaints and plenty of positive reviews on my services.  My post is 100% accurate.
