Complaint Review: Preventive Pest Control

We had a salesperson come to my house explaining that the first service would be free. The first thing that, my husband and I asked was,if it was going to be a contract. The sales person told us no, and also said that, we can call them whenever we wanted there service. We did not even sign a contract or nothing. So, since it was free for the first service, they went ahead and came when my husband and I were at work. When I got home,there was a paper saying that they had came and did the service, also it had the next appt. which said that if we wanted to cancel, we had 30 days to cancel, so we canceled the same week. After a week or so, we recieved a bill for $115.00. Because we broke the contract, which we were told that there would be no contract involved at all, we even asked the salesman more than once, to make sure.
