Complaint Review: Prey-9 James Albers

What a liar and a deceiver. After a lot of research and planning my wife and I decided to buy a German Shepard from Mr. Albers. Like I all the other reports everything was fine until the money was sent then all communications stopped. He told us that he was shipping the puppy from MO to Edmonton International because this was the closest airport to us.

Although it was still an 8 hour drive we went, got to the airport and waited, and waited, and waited, no puppy. We stayed the night and reached him in the morning, he had said that he fell off his roof and his friends were supposed to call to let us know. So back home 8 more hours we went.

We set up another day to ship the puppy. Back to Edmonton we went. What a surprise no puppy. Traveled back home and tried to call James all the way back with no answer. We kept trying to call him over the course of a month with no luck.

We decided enough was enough and called the sheriffs office in Poplar Bluff. They were very helpful and made a trip out to see him. They inspected his kennels and his pups, supposedly the pup that was to be sent to us was sick thus the reason he never shipped it.

Well we got a call shortly after the sheriff left from James stating that a new pup of a better pedigree was going to be shipped. He would call us in a few days with the bill number a date and time he would be shipped. We also got a call from the sheriff asking we had heard from James yet which we had. We traveled to Edmonton once again and to our excitement a pup. The same one in the picture from James, However it has been one year now and we are still waiting for the papers for our pup. After reading the other reports I doubt we will ever get them.
