In searching for a teacup chihuahua puppy for sale on several sites, some of which included: craigslist, puppyfind.com, state classifieds and other random internet listings with this type of dog for sale, I clicked on "Pricelesschihuahuas.com". After doing so and reading all kinds of information (now I know to be untruthful), I called one of the 2 phone numbers listed (with Maryland area codes) and was told by a man (who never gave his name), to fill out an "inquiry form" on his site if interested in one of their chihuahuas (listed as Choco) and someone would be in touch with me once it was received.

Within a couple of hours, I received the following email: Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting us with your inquiry. Now owing to working hours and sometimes the amount of inquiries we receive, it is not always possible to reply immediately, but we will however like to reassure you that we'll get in touch with you as soon as possible. In the meantime, feel free to email us back in case  you have any questions, concerns or need any assistance. Thanks, Regards

That evening I called and asked the man where he was located and was told Atlanta, GA. Then I told him I wanted to pick up "Choco" so that I could see the parents and living conditions and would pay cash once I arrived and received this puppy. He said that was unnecessary since it could be shipped to me for free and then he said that due to he and his wife's working hours that it could only be picked up on a Saturday or Sunday.

I asked how to start the buying process and was informed that I needed to send them a moneygram and once they received it, for a deposit of at least half ($300) they could hold this specific puppy I wanted but, that they already have so many inquiries and only had 3 of the 6 listed still available. He said if I really wanted to ensure I'd get "Choco", I should send money gram asap for entire $600 and since they had my information from " inquiry form" I previously filled out in their records, they would just ship puppy to the nearest airport from where I lived.

I told him that I didn't feel comfortable sending a moneygram or shipping a puppy and he said "Ma'am, with all due respect, this is how we sell our puppies, we have plenty of others who do it this way and I could buy my puppy from somewhere else if I didn't want to proceed." Thank God, I then realized this must be a scam and now I see that it is.
