Priceline allows you to search Hotels and provides a Star Rating.  Then when you turn around and bid on a Hotel, then all of a sudden, Hotels that you didn't see before are rated at the level of your prior search.  Its like a bait and switch.  It leaves you unsatisfied.  My suggestion is that if you use Priceline and they offer a Star Rating, select a star level that is one to two levels higher than what you think you want.  Of course, it won't work then.  No surprises there.  Lesson learned.  I'll stay at the Best Western "3 Star" Hotel.  Trip Advisor, Hotel.com and other websites give this Hotel a 2 star rating.  Chances are, if you shop around you will be more satisfied.
