Priceline Priceline is a BIG BULLY Internet
"Priceline, Name Your Own Price" option I used to book at hotel for a getaway weekend.
I was searching for a hotel on the beach, so I choose box # 3 Clearwater Beach and box #10 St. Pete-Treasure Island from the map on their web site of the Clearwater Beach, FL area. I ended up with a hotel in the Clearwater-St. Petersburg North area, which is box # 2.-NO WHERE CLOSE TO THE BEACH!
After spending about 20 minutes with two different Priceline Representatives (Fridz & Zara from priceline 1-888-657-9168 phone number), I feel that Priceline played a huge "bait and switch" with me. Not only did they book a room for me that wasn't in the area I chose, I don't feel that this particular Holiday Inn Select is 3 star + hotel!
The hotel was right next to an airport runway with planes taking off and landing all night! 13 miles to the closest beach!
Have had 4-5 emails form the Priceline "Executive Offices" that basically stated sorry but their is nothing that priceline can do!
