I chose to use Priceline.com to book my romantic weekend getaway after seeing several very appealing TV ads recently. After choosing the pricebreaker option I found out I had purchased a hotel for $99 a night. That seems great, but here's the catch: after all booking fees, etc the total cost for my weekend get away was $237. I then looked on Travelocity.com where the same trip was going for $230 with a $20 Target gift card.

When I called the hotel the total cost was $223 with a $20 Target gift card. So while Priceline claims to offer the best deals I got stuck with the worst one possible. There was no deal on the hotel room I paid the same price I would have anywhere else, but more. I proceeded to call customer service where I was bounced around and finally spoke with a man named Ivan ID code 5260082. He began to inform me there was nothing he could do. I then asked to speak with management and he told me the only way I could contact them was by email.

I have since emailed management and after receiving a notice that I should be contact within 3 hours I am still waiting. It has been much longer than 3 hours. Nobody should use this company. Their ads are false advertising and they have ruined my weekend sticking me with an awful hotel nowhere near the area I wanted and they refuse to do anything to help me out.
