i went to prime as a student everything went smoothly through the classes, passed all three test for my cdl permit first try, then when i went to the practice pad to get my trainer is when everything went wrong, my trainer came and got me and said we gotta go, we got a hot load.
now he was supposed to spend a couple hours there with me driveing the truck getting to know it learning it, but he said we werent going to and if i said anything about it he would deny it, turned out, the hot load was a hot date, we drove to joplin and spent the night, next day we picked up our load and left, that night after dark he put me in the drivers seat and got in the bunk and said if you see any police or get pulled in at a weight station to wake him up, i could barely shift the d**n thing and he went to bed, wtf ? thats illegal, i only had a permit,  delivered that load next morning, then our dispatcher kelley called my trainer and said she had a good load but he wasnt supposed to take it because he had a student in the truck, he told her it was ok i was a good driver and he would take it, so we loaded in charlotte north carolina and headed to calaforina, arrived a full day early, illegal again.

this went on and on, then six weeks later he took me in to test for my cdl liscense, again soon as we got to springfield he left, hot date, here i am to test, haven backed the truck once in six weeks, havent opened the hood, i dont know where anything is, i wait and wait to go practice before my test, 7 pm he still isnt there, i got fed up and drove home, about 100 miles, then he calls where are you i said i went home, you werent helping me and i cant pass without a little practice, so he said at least come try, so i did sure enough, i failed, then i heard him and the dispatcher( kelly ) talking in the lobby, he said he failed on me she replyed that dont suprise me, after she left he told me i had a strike against me kelly already didnt like me. so i practced for two days and then passed, then was hired as a company driver, though still with my trainer, this guy had issues, visiting wh*re houses, a woman in different states, always stopping for days at a time, leaveing me in a parking lot somewhere, complaining if i idled the truck very much, it was 100 degrees.
wouldnt let us shower for a week at a time, woman problems , pulled over on the shoulder of the road crying beating the steering wheel, i ask to call prime he said i didnt need to, he would call if i needed something, then that #$%$#, pissed in my coffe cup while i was sleeping and didnt empty it or say anything, guess what i got a mouth full of ? and this guy told me he was worried about his physical because he had blood in his urine because of some infection, and visits wh*re houses, nice, could have just given me HIV....this is just a tip of the iceberg,  anyhow i got off the truck and came home, tryed to get prime to rehire me to a different trainer, they refused, my dispatcher didnt advise it, imagine that, this lady dont know me, never spoke to me, yet didnt like me, dont know what all was going on between my trainer and her but it was BS...

a look at the logs tells a story, and im sure it isnt the one she heard. hell i even e-mailed robert lowe, the owner to tell my story, with not one reply, yet they want to bill me for 6000 dollars, i dont think so..... WORST EXPIERENCE OF MY LIFE

thanks for the info i will indeed be contacting them, i have a couple videos on my cell phone to back up what i am saying, there hard to make out but none the less i have them, prime put me in a dangerous situation, then refused to honor their own contract and simply put me with another driver because i walked away from this one, and went home, i went to my home unemployment office and filed a report, on this, prime acknowledged i had quit, then weeks later im trying to find a job, prime is telling the people calling about my job refferences i was fired, lol, i dont think so, i walked away for my own safety and health reasons, they had no idea i was leaveing until i got to the terminal and grabbed my bags and said bye. now their saying i was fired ?, for what ? misconduct, no, i should have given that guy a beating for pissing in my coffe cup but i didnt, i waited until i got to the terminal and left, they will say well you were told to contact your dispatch with any problems, 1 the dispatcher didnt like me,2 she was a part of the problem , so yeah right that would have worked, and that little trainer survey they give you to fill out while he stands over you thats a joke too. i just wanted to make it through thats all, not possable with a trainer like that, primes elete i suppose.

gather all your logs and documentation and sit down and write out everything that happened then file a grievence with FMCSA at:  http://nccdb.fmcsa.dot.gov/HomePage.asp.  You will need to dates and times and who and where you were and what happened.  They will call you back to clarify any information or questions that they might have.  Save the confirmation page that you will get from FMCSA that you filed a whistleblower complaint.

Then go to your nearest OSHA office and file a whistleblower complaint with them...its called the Surface Transportation Act:   http://www.whistleblowers.gov/acts/staa.html since you clearly (per this posting anyway) stressed a protected act and the company violated such law.  OSHA will walk you thru this...they are there for you but take all those pages I told you to write with you since it will help you when you discuss your claim with the intact officer.

Then....once you have filed a whistleblower claim against Prime...I suggest that you contact my personal friend and attorney, Paul Taylor..website is:  http://truckersjusticecenter.com/ or google "truckers justice center".  He has had numerous legal cases (won them all) with Prime and talk with him on your case.

While I am NOT an attorney here...former trucker with 19 years of experience, I know all to well the illegal activity that motor carriers pull on us drivers.  So take a breather and when ready do what I suggested above.  Now remember you only have 180 days to file a complaint with FMCSA and 300 days with OSHA so keep that in mind also too.

Any further questions or concerns...I suggest calling Mr. Taylor and if he doesn't answer leave him a message since he is very busy but will call you back or post here and I will try to answer it for you via this site.
