Prime Marketing Fake Cashier's Check Pickering, Ontario Canada
DO NOT deposit any cashiers check you may receive in the mail with a letter saying you've won money and need to pay taxes on the total winnings prior to the company releasing the balance of your winnings. I received a letter stating I won $8,000 along with a "cashiers check" for $985.12. It futher explained I should call 905-598-2356 to receive instructions on how to pay the taxes and receive the remainder of my winnings. The company is Prime Marketing and the cashiers check is drawn on Coppermark Bank in Oklahoma/Texas. THIS IS A FRAUD. The check is no good and you'll be out any taxes you might pay them. Take the check and correspondence to your bank. They will turn everything over to their Loss Department and report to the FBI. Also, the phone number to call is a cell phone in Ontario Canada (I did a reverse phone number look up). Don't be "scammed" out of your hard earned money. I always do my research on the internet before thinking anything that is "too good to be true" is the real thing. So, do your homework. I'm glad I did.
