I was another victim of the most dishonest company I deal with. Someone by the name GEGE, called to tel me that I was approved for an usecure Master Card and I had to pay them $187.00 to get it. She also said that I would receive "wonderful" offers via the mail. After I received the package I saw NO MASTER CARD, except of another form that I was suppose to sign and send over so that the company would apply for credit on my behalf.

I sent the package back and I was told that I the return was after the due date so I would anly get a partial refund of #160.00. I called them COUNTLESS times on the phone claiming my money back and I they were telling me that they will send a notice to the financial departument. A month ago I spoke to a "manager" and she scheduled a payment date for July 18th, 2003 but again my money never came back. I am just about to file a report to the Better Bussiness Bureau and also to the MN General attorney and I will make sure that this company will dissapear.

Alexia I have read your Rip Off Report. I feel that it is my duty to inform you and all who read this about some "Insider Info" about the credit system and how it works.

Alexia I know that you wanted to get a credit card to INCREASE the value of your credit. The credit industry does NOT want you to understand how the system really works so car dealers and banks can make more money off of you.

Let me explain some info that you are NOT being told. Take notes, OK! Or better yet, print off a copy of this Rip Off Report and save it for your records on how the credit industry works, OK.

There is a scoring system that puts a score on your credit report. This scoring system helps lenders, banks and car dealers come to some kind of idea of the buying power of your credit. If you have a "Fair Isaac Score" of say 525, you do NOT have the best credit out there.

If you have a "Fair Isaac Score" of 798 like mine was the last time I had it pulled, you have credit that most would call a "Gold Brick" meaning I have REAL STRONG credit.

Let's say you do not have a credit card, OK! If you do not have a credit card no credit bureau can calculate what is called your "Revolving Available" If they can't calculate your
"Revolving Available," Your credit report will loose valuable points.

Say you have a credit card with a limit of $1000. Let's say you went out and spent $125 on some new tires for your car. This is good. You must never spend over 15% of your limit. This keeps your "Fair Isaac Score" up.

Let's say you have a credit card that has a limit of $1000 and you spend, say $500. Now if a credit report is pulled at that time and it shows you have spent 50% of your "Revolving Available" YOU LOOSE points on your "Fair Isaac Score" If you had a limit of $1000 and you spent $500, you have what is called 50% "Revolving Available" and that's NOT GOOD!

This could cause you to lOOSE up to 18 points from your "Fair Isaac Score" Businesses do NOT want you to know this kind of info because if you do, you will NOT want to go spend money up to your card's limit.

Note to all you that have maxed your card: One of the most cost effective ways for you to rebuild your credit is to pay DOWN that credit card so you owe less then 15% of your limit as soon as you can, doing so will incrase your score fast.

Credit cards are VERY valuable to everybody these days. We all should have one. Don't be too fast to go on the internet to get a credit card. I would also say don't be too fast to let some "Slime Ball" talk you into some kind of "Sucker deal" were you have to pay them to get a credit card.

Did you know that the longer you say at the same mailing address the more points you get on your "Fair Isaac Score"?

Yes, it is true that the longer you stay at the same mailing address, you know, a home or an apartment you get more points added to your "Fair Isaac Score" You get more points because you are showing the credit industry Stability in your life.

Did you know that if you have both a checking account and a savings account you get more points on your "Fair Isaac Score"

By the way. Don't let some dirty car dealer tell you that the best way to "Rebuild" your credit is to slide down to your local "Shark Pond" ( Car dealer) and buy an "OPDS" ( Over Priced Depreciating Sled. )

Think about it, why would anyone want to go out and get into debt with a car that is going down in value every second to rebuild their credit. Makes no sense to me.

I say use a credit card to buy the needed things in life like your water bill, your gas bill, your electricity. Things that you NEED. Pay these bills with a credit card and then pay the credit card bill as SOON as you get it in the mail.

This is one of the most cost effective ways to rebuild your credit report. I am very sure that the credit industry does NOT want me to tell you what I know about the credit industry. Nor do car dealers.

Alexia I know that you want to improve the buying power of your credit like 70% of Americans do.

Very soon you will have access to what they do NOT want you to know about the credit industry. This soon available info will show you all kinds of info that "They" do not want you to know, I will see to it.

The reason I mention "Fair Isaac Score" so many times, is that Experian/TRW is the BEST type of credit report to get your hands on. I will not bash the others, But I will say that Experian/TRW is the Bench mark that the others try to copy.

The thing that really makes me upset is the fact that you as a consumer can't easily get a credit report that shows your "Fair Isaac Score" and your "Profile Summary" on it. I feel that they do not want you to see it, read it or understand it.

Soon things will change, I will try to help you and all who read my postings as consumers know a bunch more on the credit industry.

Most consumers have problems with their credit history because they do NOT understand how it all works. They do NOT want you to know how it all works so they can make more money off of you.

Uninformed consumers provide businesses the biggest profits, Trust me I have proof!

Try to return to this great web site and read my future postings. My job is to be the BEST CONSUMER ADVOCATE that I can.

I say to hell with the "Big Guy's" rules of the Credit Game.

I hope the above info helps all who read it!
