I also got scammed by Prime One. I was told that i would get a guaranteed approved $1500 limit unsecured Mastercard in 21 days. they got my $187.00 and sent me a "package" that i found to be worthless.

I had called twice before recieving the package inquiring about my credit card and they assured me that it would be on the way. Neither time saying anything about this package when i certainly said credit card. The third time i called, they them started talking about the package that i had recieved.

When i recieved the package I didn't even know what it was and never opened it 'til they told me that I needed to open it and find the welcome letter and go to a web page and "choose the credit card that best suited my needs."

When I went to this web page, it was just a bunch of different credit card applications. I spent almost 2 hours filling out different applications to be rejected time after time. So I called Prime One again.

When i told them of my problem, they told me that it was up to the bank that issued the credit cards, not Prime One. I said,"I thought you were a credit card company." That is when i found out that they were not. I then asked why did I pay you $187 then? They replied for "the package".

I then told the lady what the sales representative had told me to get my money. She told me "no that is not what they told you."
After going through this 3 times. I finally asked "well then how do i get my money back?" She replied "all you have to do is send everything in the packet back with a letter why you want a refund." She also told me that it would take 12 to 16 weeks for me to get my refund and it would be direct deposited into my account.

The end of the 16 weeks was 21 November 03. I since then have called several times. They assure me that it should be coming soon. I have unlimited long distance on my phone, but did not know that i was calling canada long distance. I was charged $118 on my phone bill, before i found out that i was calling canada.

How can a company that says it is in New York have a Canadian phone number?

I don't think that i will ever get my money back, but i am willing to spend even more money to make sure that this fraud of a company can not do this anymore.

If anyone has any suggestions on what to do i would definitely appreciate them.
