    On April 12, 2012, I ordered a Confer Pool Ladder (Mfr Part CON7100B), a ladder pool mat, and a 24ft Round - 1/4" thick 48" Tall - Wall/Foam Floor Kit (Mfr Part WLFFP0024). We received the items the next week, and had several problems - We paid $135.00 for the 1/4" Foam Kit, but received the 1/8" Foam instead.

    The Confer Ladder had several parts missing, including part of the safety feature, and all the hardware.

    My wife called them on Monday, April 30, 2012, and spoke with someone named Diana. She reported the problems with the ladder and the wall foam. The difference in price between the 1/8" and 1/4" foam was about $60.00, Diana said they could refund $25.00. She got my wife in touch with someone named Charla at Confer Ladders, and she promised to send all the missing parts ASAP.  I did receive the ladder parts five days later; a long time considering it was their fault in not including the parts.  I attempted to call both Confer Ladders and Prime Pool Market, and was unable to get an answer at either business.

    I have received the $25 check, but have not cashed it.  Seems they think any little pittance they throw my way will shut me up.  This company is dishonest, and completely lacking in integrity.  We checked their web page, and they have now changed the price of the 1/8" foam, but in the specifications section, it is still listed as 1/4".  They didn't cover their tracks very well.

We are disappointed that one of our customers submitted this report.  We go out of our way to provide quality customer service and this report is out of the ordinary for our company. The order was placed on 4-12-12 and delivered to the customer on 4-18-12.  Our office received a call about missing parts on 4-30-12.  When the customer reported the missing parts from the manufacturer's sealed box, we promptly contacted the manufacturer on the customer's behalf in the hope of expediting the missing parts.  The manufacturer shipped those parts and they were received by the customer on 5-4-12.  The customer was sent 1/8" wall foam instead of 1/4" wall foam as the brand of wall foam we currently use is a much higher quality and costs more, but was sent at the same price.  We also sent them 3 cans of spray tack instead of the ordered 2 cans because we felt 2 cans may not have been enough for their size pool.  Because of their complaint, though, they were sent  check two checks for a total reimbursement of $50.  In summary, the customer received the missing ladder parts within 5 days, received an extra can of spray tack and a check for $50.   We take pride in our company and clearly have taken steps to satisfy this customer.
