Prime is now the mail order pharmacy for Blur Cross/Blue Shield of IL, whom I pay a monthly fee to for medical coverage. Without notice in November 2004 after "aquiring a ownership stake in prime" (HCSC - Health Care Service Corp. who is the owner of BCBS of IL, TX, and MN the actual owner of record at the time of this writing), changed the provider from Walgreens to Prime. Without the knowledge of this change a prescription was sent to Walgreens in November 2004, a Rip-Off Report can be found that goes into detail on the Walgreens actions by searching under "Walgreens" the report is dated November 29, 2004, 7:32:00AM.

On November 30, 2004 Prime Mail sent a letter along with the prescription Walgrrens had forwarded them that they were "unable tp procress your recent request because insurance coverage treminated on 8/2/04". This was not the case and after several phone calls to both Prime and BCBS of IL this problem was overcome. The refund chech from Walgreens (which was endorsed over to Prime Mail) along with the prescription was mailed to Prime Mail.

After waiting three weeks Prime mail was contacted and ask the status of the prescription, the reply was "we did not recive that order". Another week passed and another call was maded and for the second time "order was not received". They told me they would turn it over to the department that handles such things and i would hear shortly from them.

Another week, and yet the third call and for the third time that "order was not received". At this point Walgrens was contacted and ask if their check #52660 dtd. 11/30/2004 had cleared the bank. Yesterday, (12/30/04) Dana with Walgreens returned my call in leas than two (2)days, and told me that the check had in fact been paid by their bank, and a copy of both back in front was in the mail to me.

Prime Mail was contacted yesterday - last person spoken with was Nikki at 877-357-7463 X-6401, who for the fourth time said that the prescription and/or check had NOT been received BUT the a order that I had sent them a few days ago had. She could not answer how a order that was not received that contained a paper check could have had the check cashed by Prime Mail.

After asking several times how can you present something for payment and have it paid that you did not receive she could not provide an answer. I ask here to please get the presriptions in the mail today (12/30/04) since I had been waiting since November 30, 2004 for the Nitro, she siad she would make a notation on the order. I ask for the phone number of the corporate office since no one in Dallas and/or Nebraska could answer how they were able to cash a paper check that they did not receive. She had me on hold for 30 minutes (total) trying to get her supervisor to talk to me, and finally offered to have the supervisor call me back.

Never had a call, so I called back this morning and spoke with Nikki who was able to give me the corporate address above but not the phone number and also told me after being ask my medications had NOT been enter into the mails yesterday. The letter that was dated 11/30/04 state "it is our commitment to you as our customer to provide you with the highest quality of service" I have seen nothing but greed - they cashed a check that they deny four times receiving and provided no medicine for it. Plus after being told they had cashed it, made no effort to step up to the plate and accept responsibliity for their actions or lack thereor.

I will ay my expense be printing a copy of this report to forward to Dr. Jemes E. Harert, Vice President & Chief Medical Officer of Prime Therapeutics, LLC who on December 10, 2004 in New York, New York has a presentation posted on the world wide web when in the statement "There are only two problems with health care: proverty and greed" is quoted. He needs to be aware greed is alive and well in his own company. Prime's accounting department take the money first thing when a order is received I was told by two of thier representatives.

If you can avoid BCBS of IL, TX, NM, MN, NE, ND. KN, and WY as well as Prime Mail I suggest you do. I have been since November 2004 trying to get medications and it will be 2005 before they are here, I was told 10-14 days AFTER prime receives the order, funny they do not wait a day to get the money.

PRIME MAIL SERVICES SUCK!

#7Consumer Comment

Thu, June 12, 2008

I agree that Prime Mail is operating under a greed policy. Several weeks ago I placed an order through the phone mail system. After being advised that my order for Prevacid totalling $80.00 would be charged to the credit card that they had on file, I completed the transaction.

However, I had ordered this same medication previously, and the charge had been $50.00. I immediately, pressed zero for an operator to inquire why my prescription was now $80.00. I was advised by Leschelle that BCBS had changed the formulary for this particular drug & the cost was now $80.00. I asked Leschelle if their was a generic alternative, and she suggested omeprazole, which was $30.00 for a 90 day supply. I advised Leshelle that I had just completed the phone transaction for Prevacid, and wanted it cancelled. I advised her that I would contact my doctor for a new prescription. At first Leschelle told me that she would try to cancel the order through the pharmacy, but it may be too late. I advised her that I had just placed the order 5 minutes before speaking to her. I advised her to give me the direct line to the pharmacy & I would cancel the order. With that Leschelle advised me to hold while she cancelled the order. After what seemed like an enternity, she returned to the phone and assured me that the order had been cancelled.

However, 2 days later I received an automated message on my voice mail advising me that my order had been shipped. I phoned prime mailed immediately and advised them that this order had been cancelled per Leschelle. I was referred to a supervisor. He advised me that he would have to pull the telephone records to hear how my conversation with Leschelle went, and would get back to me in 24 hours. I advised him angrily that I would be sending the drugs back, once they arrived & I wanted my account credited as this was a mistake on their part. This person never returned my call. Prime subsequently charged the $80.00 to a credit card account that I had not used in years, instead of the account that I had been using. This caused an overdraft to this account, and I have incurred a ton of overdraft fees. That was almost two weeks ago, and I am still trying to clear this whole mess up with another Supervisor, by the name of Donald. I have had several problems with this company, and I hate the day that my prescription service was transferred from Walgreens to Prime Mail.

Contacted Dedee (does not have and ext.) this morning. She told me that my meds had been shipped yesterday !!!! Nikki X-6401 had refused any quick method of mailing, however Dedee said they had sent the meds by express mail yesterday.

Now the questions are:

1. Did they fill all of them ?

2. Did they send the amounts of each that was to be sent?

3. Will the Post Office deliver?

4. What hoops will I have to overcome next time I need refills ?

Today I talked with Matthew (who does not have an ext.) he informed me that my order was received 12/30/2004 and is still in processing. I wonder if this processing time has to do with greed ? I did mail them a check and checked with my bank and it has not cleared yet. Before you ask, yes the check will be paid when presented.

Second update today, received the following letter that contaned the prescription that not once, not twice, not three, but four times Prime employees denied ever receiving. The check that was sent to them was not included but the letter explains their greed when it comes to your money.

I spent nearly two hours on the phone with Jerry at Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL in December (800-458-6024) who assured me that this was not the case when I called him about Primes letter dated November 30, 2004 which was the exact same letter as above.

Prime (Sal) informed me this morning that the six prescriptions that I had on order were being processed and would be mailed out
soon via regular mail. I ordered a refill from my loca WalMart today and went to pick it up, I was infomed that I no longer had insurance coverage. Wonder why i paid them nearly $600.00 last month for coverage and will pay it again this month.

Greed is alive and well at Blue Cross\Blue Shield, and Prome Therapeutics. This is the prescription I have been tring to obtain since early November 2004.

Spoke with Sal this AM (01/03/05) my Meds are "still in process" and are will be shipped "standard mail". Greed abounds at Prime Mail, with no concern for the customer. Still have not heard anything from the people that were to look into the Rx not received but check cashed.

No communcations from Dr. Harert in Saint Paul.
