I accepted an interview after returning a phone call the morning after I received a 9pm message on my machine. I was given only vague answers about what this position actually entailed and even more elusive answers to how he got a hold of my resume. Interested, though, about the financial Citicorp Management position I was being offered, I attended the 'interview.'

Once at the office building I could tell this was not exactly what I had bargained for. There were people at the front door taking names and I was escorted into a room with "Persistance" and "Attitude" posters on the wall. Plaques of the best FNP's or SOB's (as I was soon to find out) were on the wall. I sat there trying to keep an open mind for 25 minutes. Red Flags were up all over my sixth sense. After 25 minutes and in the middle of the 3rd speaker, who happened to be the recuiter who had contacted me, I got up and walked out. Another man behind me followed me out, as well.

I figured I'd chaulk it up to a learning experience and my husband and I had a good laugh about it when I got home. However, about 10 minutes to 10 AT NIGHT, the phone rang. My husband answered and handed it to me. Matildi, the recruiter, started in on me and asked why I had left in the middle of his speech. I told him I wasn't interested in supporting a pyramid of nonsense. He raised his voice and asked me loudly "Well, how much do you make an hour, then?" I told him it was none of his business. He then repeated then told me that I must not be making enough if I had been giving out my resume. I replied that I'm financially secure and was looking for something I was going to enjoy doing. He told me that wasn't true and (yelling now) he was going to do THIS and Primerica THAT. After trying to out-yell him, I finally came to my senses and hung up the phone.

THE END! HA! NO WAY! He called back. My husband picked up and when he began yelling at him about me hanging up the phone. He simply and calmly said, "You're done calling here." Click.

We haven't heard back tonight, but this guy not only has my phone number, but my address from the resume. These people are crazy! STAY AWAY or GET OUT NOW!!!!
