Primerica Sells FDIC Uninsured Insurance The company purposely markets toward young and financially unstable individuals promising fortune. Pittsfield Massachusetts
I quote this from the Important Disclosures link in their official website, (which is the company's name dot com):
"Subsidiary of Citigroup
Primerica and its affiliates are subsidiaries of Citigroup Inc. Each subsidiary of Citigroup, and not Citigroup itself, is responsible for its obligations to its customers. Insurance and securities offered through Primerica Companies are not deposits. There is no bank guarantee. They are not FDIC insured. Securities may lose value."
They use Citigroup as leverage to their integrity but they really have no recognition by the parent company. Also in the site's press room are articles about their mention in completely obscure magazines, not forbes or fortune 500 etc..
Just to inform anyone who thinks making money is easy, insurance is cheap, and that a good company will find you and hire you off the street.

FDIC does not insure insurance
#2Consumer Suggestion

First of all, the FDIC does not insure insurance. FDIC insures bank deposits. The statement about the securities not being insured, and could lose money is standard text that you'll find with any company that deals in stocks (securities.)
Second, how have you been ripped off?
