to my surprise i almost believed that i was granted a financial miracle in the guise of a lottery win. a windfall within my grasp just before christmas, only the lord hadn't answered my prayers.

i recieved a notification letter from spain, it didn't seem strange as my children and i had spent the summer there. i almsost remembered purchasing a lottery ticket for the european lottery whilst on holiday so i was convinced, almost.

as ever the eternal sceptic, i contacted a friend in media who regularly works in spain. within minutes she confirmed it was a scam, infact her words alone convinced me to research the net for similar scams and so through a series of links, here i am. it was trully all over the internet.

on one site link,a sample letter dated in 2005 was exactly the same as the one i recieved this morning. including my lottery numbers.
president of the lottery award board, pedro ramerez almost had me there for a mintute, the now featuring your trustworthy claims agent, dr. davis lopez and of course lets not forget to include the infamous foreign operations manager, santalucia seguros s. a.

yes, i had a miraculous escape. i didn't win anything but i kept everything and today i realise that i am trully one of the lucky few!!!

No Miracle - You used good old COMMON SENSE

You did the right thing by checking it out, and you did not need to go all the way to Spain to do it. You found it on the internet as well.

If those who ended being scammed had used common sense (just stop and think a minute) and made some attempt to check it out - never would have been scammed.
