Complaint Review: Primont Financial Funding

Primont Financial Funding So I received an email from this company stating that I got approves for a personal loan for $8000. Long story short, I was told told to make a payment of $450 and that would secure my loan. Then later on, I get told I need to make another payment of $820 for collateral and insurance. I'm suppose to receive my funds but I still haven't received anything yet. New York New York

I received an email stating that I was approved for a personal loan for $8000. I was skeptical for a second but I called the number and spoke to a Lydia Roland(my loan officer). She explained to me 3 ways to receive my loan. Either have a co signer with no money down and 700 credit score not related to me, use my car as a collateral but it has to be new and paid off, or pay $450 upfront to secure the loan in which it allowed me to have 3 months paid in advance and a grace period of 30 day, so I wouldnt have to make a payment until Jan 2018. My payments were $160 every month with an interest of 7.75 %. Of course I go the route of $450. Had to wait the next day to receive my documents for me to sign. I read but I'm also skimming through(biggest mistake I ever made in my life). As I return my sign document and made my payment, Lydia then informs me that she didn't know I also needed to make a payment for the insurance policy for the loan due to my credit score being so low! She tells me to re read my documents and there it is, saying that as a new Borrower, I have to pay for the insurance ($1200) first prior to release of my Loan. I'm pretty bothered at this point because they just wiped me out with the $450 and prior to that same day, I had just spent $300 for car maintenance. Lydia is very calm and nice and claims to have my side on this and tells me she is going to be in contact with the companies legal department and involve her supervisor about the situation. I'm told it's slightly my fault for not reading THOROUGHLY but that they also didn't explain it clearly to her as she presented me the offers. To wrap up, she claims that they agreed to have my $450 go towards the insurance but now the insurance fee went up to $1300 and that I have a balance of $820. Once I pay the $820, I will have my funds between 4-6 hrs. Well I paid the remaining $820 and Lydia told me I will receive my funds over night because of the time difference in NY. I am in California and i sent in the payment 20 minutes before they were about to close. It is 4am in California and I still don't see my funds. I sent in my payments through Western Union, I shouldve known from that that this was a potential SCAM. I checked their website and it seemed legit but also not enough information, it was a bit off. I also couldn't find any reviews of the Business. I couldn't find them. Not I am really stressed because they have taken $1300 from me and I move to a new state on the 304th and that was my spending money. Ironic, I am moving to Albany NY. I am not sure what to do but I hope I can help others not make the same mistake I just made.
