Complaint Review: Primotronix

Primotronix Terrible service, failure to meet promises, RIP-OFF Internet, Connecticut

Ordered a Canon 18-135 lens ($289), professional filter set ($249), set of four magnifying filters.  Received broken lens (internal elements out of alignment, regular pictures had fish eye effect on upper corners and left edge focus distortion).  Did not receive any filters.  Received wrong magnifying set.

Contacted firm via phone on 12/3, 12,13,14, and 15,  Contacted by email 12/14, 15, 16.  When I talked to phone reps (after minimun of 30 min hold) the first thing they wanted to do was transfer me before they even knew the problem (and minimum additional 15 min wait).  Ultimately, every rep promised to credit me for the missing parts and to send me an RMA/Shipping label for lens replacement.  Not one promise has been kept.  No credit. No return authorization... and over 5 hours on the phone.

The low prices are not worth the problems...  These people are verging on fradulent activities.
