I was swindled when I purchased a vehicle from Masters Auto NYC. I have now learned that they just renamed their company Prince Auto NYC. It is owned and operated by fraudulent criminals, Farzin Pourad and Dayan Pourad.

Apparently, they open businesses to swindle consumers for a short period of time and then close shop or change names once they have gained bad publicity (court orders, lawsuits, crimes) for their old business names.

This was the original report:

Masters Auto NYC (now Prince Auto NYC) on 165-25, Hillside Avenue Jamaica, NY 11432 advertised a car at a pretty low price. I went in knowing that I have good credit and had a good amount for a down payment. The car looked in good condition, had a clean carfax, and performed well on the test drive.

They were very nice in the beginning, I put my down payment and since it was on the weekend I had to come on a weekday to finalize the financing portion. When I came back to finalize the deal I was suddenly told that I have bad credit and they provided me a loan with an apparently high interest rate. I was ticked off but I went forward with the deal because I wanted to get it over with. When I went to drive the car away I all of a sudden realize that this was not the same car I test drove the day before. Its brakes were bumpy, its transmission sounded like it was on its last legs but the color, model, and year seemed the same on paper.

Luckily enough I took pictures of the first car to show my wife before. I was now able to zoom in on the VIN# of the car and my suspicions were confirmed - this was a different car.
