I am writing because I am INCENSED by the garbage written by J Pierre from Montreal Canada.

I have dealt with Emery and Printonadime and I have NEVER had any sort of problem. They have been and continue to be very easy to deal with, helpful and supportive of their products. I have a total of 7 of their CIS systems currently running with no problems and they have saved me thousands of dollars in ink purchases.

The disgruntled Monrealer should be complaining about the pathetic Canadian postal service NOT Printonadime. How is Emery supposed to know the the Canadian postal service "barely" works? As an ex-Canadian I would never trust the mail in Canada especially on packages from other countries that have to clear customs. J. Pierre should have known better. His fault not PrintonaDime.

First, I would like to add a comment to this report as a consumer, as I found these comments to be ludicrous at best.  The report is full of disrespect towards the original author.   RIP OFF report is a place to expose complaints, not tpraise a company.   Why did this person not simply submit a rebuttal to the original report instead of opening a new report.  This is questionable as to which they have paid shills or what not...........

But in any case, I would like to fully support the original author of the other complaint.  Print On A Dime is not flawless, and the original author was not complaining on shipping or delays or Canada Post.......Perhaps the author of this nice review (shill in my opinion) which has no place in RIPOFFREPORT, did not fully read the original complaint.  The consumer did not receive the product advertised.  If a product is advertised to save you money on ink and reset chip back to 90%, it does not mean chip resets at 100% and does tons of clean cycles.........

I would like to testify that the original rip-off report complaint was accurate as I too have experienced the same issues.  Far more cleaning cycles with his cartridges and chips than with EPSON OEM ones, so in the end all that so-called money you saved is wasted in that nice ink tube waste at the back of my printer!

The company made claims of INKs being made in the USA, this cannot be verified, but I have doubts.  I do not believe EPSON would allow this.   Most after market inks are imported from Chinese distribuors....The cartridges and ink are of sub par quality.......Cartridges are fragile, the rubber seal often is defective and cartridges leak of ink. Ink colour is off, though that is not really an issue, they don't even have a phone number to reach them, or provide proper invoices at the time I ordered from them.      So how can this consumer claim that anybody making negative comments are all ignorant and he is right ????  Many have experienced similar problems.  I have used many after market inks, and yes the print on a dime ones were better, but they were in no way as good and accurate as hyped to be by the site.

The reset chips (ARCs) also cause many print cycle cleaning and headaches.

I've gone through 3 batches of refillable cartridges before finally landing on a set that did not leak from the outlet cheap rubber valve.

I do agree with the above poster about Canada postal service, but that was not the initial complaint of the author, he complained about product not being as described, and it's pretty much in sync with what I have gone through.

I ended up doing what many people have done, remove the chips and swap them with EPSON original chips from old used carts........works like a charm....no more frequent cleaning cycles or random resets...... Their products are not terrible, there are far worse - but they are not all that exceptional either.......the cartridges temselves are flimsey at best, can't expect any more from made in china.........as to the INK I have my reservations on whether they are made in USA or not.

As to the seller, back in the days of Emery, he was arrogant and evasive !  Blaming Canada post is one thing, but he never properly shipped his products...........For the exorbitant prices he charged for handling, the least to be expected is bubble wraps or proper packaging, instead of sending one large sized box for suc ha small item that moves losely inside without any shipping material.  That is pathetic.

Also to this ex Canadian in Florida, Print On A Dime is out of business now.........Emery Nelson was replaced with a new owner, far more polite and civil with customers, but now they no longer are in business.....I wonder why !  There are plenty of ohters distributors of ink and cartridges products far more competent in my opinion, where you can contact the seller, phone themir business and get prompt replies to your queries.

Please do not use RIP OFF repoerts to make praises, go write your alleged shill / praises on blogs or review sites......RIP OFF report is for consumers who were allegedly ripped-off or felt ripped off by a company.

Not for some fan boys to try to discret bad reviews.

 

The claims made by Print On  A DIME are DECEPTIVE.

I work in the multimedia industry and as well have done a lot of photography, and I have run so many tests with

the inks in comparaison to EPSON's, they are off and very noticeable.   He claimed otherwise whic his false,
