Complaint Review: PRIVACY MATTERS 123

PRIVACY MATTERS 123 They said free credit report & it cost me $30.95 because of a click. I'm trying to nip it in the bud now rather than later. I can see from other reports that these guys are a bunch of jerks who get their jollys off of taking advantage of unsuspecting peoplewho aren't knowledgeable on the net. such as me! I click on free credit report and it said that I would be charged a $1.00. I than got off their page, thinking what a scam. Later I was charged a $1 twice. I decided to over look it thinking I won't visit that page again. Now I just got charge a $1.00 and charged 29.95 right after that on the same day - 08-28-2007. I tried to call but got no one due to it being after their so called working hrs. So I E-mail them and got a response stating that I have contact them later on. well that's what I'm doing E-mailing them, and they sure take the money after so called hrs, so someone is working. I told them I had no intention of becoming a member & will never have an intention of become one & I want my money back!!!

I origanally thought that privacymatters123 had given my money back, but was mistaken they didn't. I looked at my bank account and it wasn't there on 8/29. Now it's gone and I'm wonder what's going on. It looks like that this company is going to be a thorn in my side and I'm not happy about that. I keep emailing them and telling them that I want my money back, but still haven't had any results.

I checked my bank statement on line and $29.95 was refunded to my account. They still kept a $1.00 for what ever reason I don't know?
At least it wasn't a total loss. I rather lose a $1.00 than 29.95.

I let them know I wasn't happy with what they did to me using some very choice words and got some money back. It doesn't hurt to take action when these co. do this to unsuspecting people. I've learned a valueable lesson and that is if you are on sure Don't click on it!

I'm now having a time with a bunch of e-mail coming in, companies tring to sell me stuff, and it's annoying.
