Privacy Matters 123Privacy Matters 1-2-3 IK9*PRIVACY MATTERS - No report received-still charged even though their website said my order was unable to be processed Des Plaines Illinois
I "tried" to sign up tonight for the free trial to view my credit reports with privacymatters.com. After submitting my information, their website gave me an error indicating that my order could not be processed and to please verify my information and submit again. Instead, I just signed off my computer because I got busy with something else.
Well, I just checked my bank account and it shows that I have been charged $1.00 from IK9*PRIVACY MAT. I did not use their service and I never received any type of confirmation or member ID number to access my credit reports. Most importantly, I was under the impression that the website was unable to process my order and my information didn't submit or go through in the first place.
I read on ripoffreport.com all the complaints about this company being a fraud and how it has scammed a lot of people. So I have reported to my bank that my VISA check card was stolen to prevent future billings from this company or any of their affiliates who now have my card number. I know my VISA card wasn't physically stolen but in my opinion my card number was stolen and I was deceived via the internet. I also emailed privacy matters 1-2-3 and your savings club requesting they cancel my membership immediatly.
