May 2006, I began getting a charge to my visa from a company called Privacy Matters. I called the number on my bank statement and spoke with someone who could not find my account. They informed me that someone would contact me. I left my number. Never happened.

August 2006, I experienced the exact same thing, almost word perfect. In the meantime this compnay is still taking money from my account. Still no one contacted me.

November 7, 2006 I called and spoke with a gentleman named Shaun-ID#25742. I told him either you find out about my so-called account today, or I will bring the authorities in on you. He wanted me to speak with his Supervisor. Her name was Saeema-ID#25825. She informed me that she couldn't find the account. She needed my charge card number to look the account up. I told her "OH NO. You already have it. You must think I'm a real fool. You all are internet thieves. I am going to contact my lawyer and the newspaper". She instantly found my account.

I informed her I wanted my money back. Right Now! I didn't know how they got my charge card number, but this is considered identity theft. As a consumer, I would be contacting my State Attorney General and letting them know the depth of this company. I told her they are "scammers", and I wasn't going to stop until eveyone knew of their practice.

I have yet to get my money back from them. Altogether they withdrew $164.45 from my account.
