Purchased a 2012 Ram 1500 on 05/13/2022. Gave a week for dealership to get truck inspected, and fix a few issues. Waited a week. Nothing was done. At the end of the day when I was up there to pick up, I was told to drive the truck to my mechanic and they would pay to get it inspected and fix everything. I had already waiting the entire day, and took them at their word.

Find out when I drop the truck off that it is illegal for them to have sold me the truck without a state inspection. Then I found out that the truck is going to need between $8k-$10k in repairs just to pass inspection. After multiple attempts to contact the dealer to hold up their end of the deal, they went from telling me they would call me back, to not answering my calls or texts.

Reached out to a lawyer and am trying to get a refund at this time.
Also worked with the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board for the state of Virginia. The dealer did not reply to my complaint though the board. Found out that there have been many complaints have been filed and gone un-responded to through the board.

Also have contacted the state police about being instructed to drive off the lot without an inspection.

Now, making my rounds to make sure others do not fall to my same fate.

I just purchased a 2016 Ram Promaster Van from them and going through the same issues. Reached out to the board, attorney general, BBB, Secretary of State, and also to a lawyer. Do you have an update on the status of your situation?
