I've purchased two data recovery and Email password recovery software from www.prodatadoctor.com, India and feel nothing but fool with their services. The software does not work as they promised in their description. When I want to contact them, they did not provide any contact details on their site, all things were fake. When I checked their links below the page, all websites are of same owner.

Scott, the sales associate, helped me describe that much of the sites are hosted are on same server, because their server IP are exactly same. But the main thing is that all the fraud sites contain same software with same pattern of designing and selling. My daughter who was graduating college she was an extremely professional. She gave me advice to check their T&C of site, when I checked, I surprised they did not give any contact details.

When I Checked their XML file URL: http://www.prodatadoctor.com/pddc-windows.xml
give contact phone 001-9811111111and contains fake address, you can check in their XML files. I was really shocked and I strictly warned for www.prodatadoctor.com and their relative site www.techddi.com for purchasing softwares, their software can damaged our HDD and may destroy all important contents. I donot want my money back but request from the investigation professionals please do something, if need some more helps and more details you can send me mails at given mail id.

Product doesn't appear to work

I tried a Demo of "Data Doctor Password Recovery". First, I was a little disturbed at the process to "download the demo". The download is an executible which then leads to another download page. Creator can't seem to be verified.

Bottom line. I created a test file with the password "abcdefghij"

The demo "revealed" the first 2 characters as " Pa******* ".

The number of stars '*' does not correspond to the number of hidden characters which appear in a typical password field (I have worked at places where a random number of * appear while typing, making it more secure, HOWEVER, this is the same number of *'s that appeared when I tried the demo on another file. This either implies nothing, the demo wants to not give enough clues to actually remember the password without purchasing the product (acceptable, if true) or that the program has no actual knowledge of the actual password (evidence points to latter).

If I ever receive a reply to my inquiry of the apparent malfunction I will pass it on.

Role of JAMAL and Legal Meanings of his postings

Jamal, Please be advised that Legal proceedings do not move on fake and fraudulent information.

I can bet that you are NOT from America and most likely are the Ex-Employee of that company, who has been fired from the company due to some dishonest activities as you also do in America and England when a company hires you Indians to save money. Posting the BAD reviews will not help you but you'll be entitled to pay for the reputation damages that you guys are causing to that Company. If you were in England, You could be immediately arrested due to this criminal offence. It is clear sabotage.

I have been discussing this issue with my Lawyers here in Leicester and I have been told that there is nothing wrong in that if a company hides its contact information from public forums and similar contents (that you guys referred as here as XMLs). Even ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) has advised to hide emails and phone numbers from spammers and information harvesters.

The company that you are talking about has clearly published their contact information on their corporate website. The personal information of the owners that you have published here with the BAD reputation, may not be known by any customer who has only purchased something online from them. How you know all these details about the owners of the company? I also purchased the products from that company (I accept that I had some difficulties in using the software) but I did not receive the name of owners throughout the process.

Jamal Your role is still not clear about your postings on ripoffreport website. On following URL of the website you are claiming to be "Jamal, Encino, California, U.S.A." and posted your dissatisfaction on 1/19/2009 1:38:53 AM:
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/413/RipOff0413700.htm

On above URL, JAMAL"claims to be our customer", who purchased TWO type of Products for Data Recovery as well as for Password Recovery. Surprising how you needed two different nature products at a time?

Now if I see another post made on 1/29/2009 1:42:01 AM on website URL:

http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/417/RipOff0417572.htm

On above URL, "Jamal, Encino, California, U.S.A." responds to some report and here you "claims to be our Ex-Employee" and support the dissatisfaction of the FAKE post that you did just One day ago? How you came to know about that posting in such a short time?

There are a lot of grammatical mistakes that have been made in these postings that make it extremely clear that you guys may not be from America and these Postings are FAKE and you guys are simply Abusing the ripoffreport System to harm the reputation of that company.
