Pro Med Personnel Worst employment agency out there! Couldn't care less who they place, just care about bottom line! New York , New York
If you can, please don't deal with Pro Med Personnel in Manhattan. They have the most inept staffing people you can imagine. They give you a lot of nonsense sales talk to get you to go out on an interview. They will say things like "they place is really interested in you", "they love your resume". Pro Med will also hide things about the job that you may not like. Like low pay, having to be on call at night/weekends, and lousy working conditions. So you go to the interview and this place that "was so interested" doesn't hire you. Then you never hear from Pro Med again. They use deceptive bullcrap sales talk to get you to waste your time, energy and money. Needless to say when you don't get the position it is a let down. They should be honest about the position, responsibilities and pay. But they don't tell you the whole story, because they know that you would not be interested. A Jeannette Napalitano was the worst offender. She would call once every 6 months, act like we were close friends from way back, and essentially lie about details of the job. She really should be in sales, and not staffing. She said, "this place is so interested in you!". After not getting hired I never heard from her again. Of course I felt manipulated and let down. And I have filed a complaint to the BBB about their business practices. I know an employment agency can't guarantee a job, but they should not use deceptive sales to get you to interview. Disgusting... The staff people, other than the front desk girl, are cold, calculating, manipulative and couldn't care less about you. I really feel I should be compensated for traveling costs, the waste of time, and the let down. Mrs. Napalitano implied that I had a pretty good chance of getting the job. Well....essentially I was not interviewed. I was interrogated and the interviewer was unpleasant and having a bad day. People should be able to get compensation for this kind of crap. Any advice? I would avoid Pro Med..... you might get placed but they are very unpleasant and couldn't care less about you. They only care about the bottom line, and the owner is from what I have heard a little crazy. I feel the agency should be put out of business.

Pro med personnel....you don't want to deal with them

Pro med personnel is the worst employment agency out there. They will give you a lot of sales bullshit to get you to interview....things like "the company is so interested in you" and then you don't get hired. The owner is a certified nut who is just out for the quick buck. A Jannet Napalitano is by far the worst offender. She told me how the company "loved my resume", and wanted to interview me "as soon as possible".
I was then essentially interrogated and did not get the job. I tried to explain what happened and Mrs. Napolitano said abruptly, "Yeh... You told me already." And then I never heard from them again. You don't want to deal with these people if you can avoid it. If you have had any bad experience with this company please get in touch with me via this site or contact the BBB. I am talking with an attorney about filing a class action lawsuit against this company.
They have been bullsh*tting people for long. And I could go back there today and the exact same thing would happen. I was going to let the whole thing go, but when Mrs. Napalitano didn't even want to hear my story that was it. I feel I should be compensated for traveling costs, time and the emotional let down. You don't want to put your future in the hands of a bunch of cold blooded nuts, who couldn't care less.
